INVIOLABLE WORK
Art that arises from our Original Nature does not need to fit any stylistic school. It springs from an interior place that synthesizes all the information absorbed to date by the artist and yields a product that is fresh and spontaneous. When I create from an inviolable source the work is clear. There is no longer any need to worry about being unique; uniqueness is already present.
The act of creation, when sourced from Original Nature is inviolable. The work produced is also inviolable. This work when it appears needs nothing added or subtracted.
Fred Voigt Becker studied painting and printmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University. He makes art in Denver, Colorado at Prism Workspaces, Building 3, Unit G
