When I moved from Germany to Brussels I was influenced by the art of Cubism and developed a large portfolio of cubistic paintings. That worked well for me at that time. I always loved the interaction with lines and light.
After moving to Colorado I continued painting cubistic and sold many of my work in Denver
Galleries. Maybe it was the wide open space of this country that made me want to find more freedom in my contemporary work. Now I see my work as more of a self reflection with free movements also influenced by my love for music and dance. I want my audience to feel something organic rather than understand it fully.
