Debra is currently creating monotypes, acrylic paintings, collages, and handmade books. She’s a printmaker, teacher, docent and mentor. She has taught drawing, painting and printmaking to adults and children in New Jersey for over 20 years. She has a BFA in printmaking from Rhode Island School of Design. Debra has exhibited her art in numerous solo and juried group shows. The common thread that unites her abstract monotypes and realistic paintings is her interest in the interaction of organic and geometric shapes.
Debra lives in Denver from October through May and returns to the Jersey shore for the summer.
